Māui’s elderly grandfather, Murirangawhenua, held great mana and wisdom. One day, he gifted Māui his magical jawbone, a powerful taonga meant to help others. Māui promised to use this gift wisely, and with it he went on to perform many amazing deeds that changed the world for the better.
This puzzle is brought to life through a single-sided image tray puzzle in A4 size (310 mm × 220 mm). Available in 4-piece, 9-piece, and 12-piece and 18-piece options, it supports early learning, problem-solving, and fine motor development while connecting tamariki to Māori storytelling in a meaningful, hands-on way.
